1) Can you tell us a bit about your role at GWE?
I head up the sales department, my role is to work with the sales team to ensure we deliver the best service and support in the industry to our partners and clients.
2) How long have you been working at GWE, and what drew you to the company?
I’ve had the privilege of being a part of GW Energy for 4 years now. What truly drew me to the company were GWE’s strong values that resonate deeply with my own values. As the years passed, I’ve witnessed the company’s unwavering commitment to creating a greener world, and it continues to inspire me daily. I look forward to many more years of growth and success with GWE.
3) Can you walk us through a typical day in your role at GWE?
There’s no such thing as a typical day for me! I could be out on-site, working with members of the sales team or one of our trusted partners plus everything else in between.
4) What inspired you to pursue a career in renewable energy, and how does GWE align with your personal values?
As a father, I know we must leave the planet in good condition for the next generation. Knowing that we can save companies money whilst lowering their carbon emissions is also very rewarding.
5) What sets GWE apart from other renewable energy companies in the industry?
We are the UK’s original VO manufacturer and remain an engineering-led company with industry-leading knowledge and practises. As a company, we pride ourselves on delivering best-in-class products and services.
6) What has been your highlight of working at GWE so far?
There have been so many but I can honestly say every time we do a good job for our customers is a highlight.
7) If you could switch jobs with someone else in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
Probably production as I would enjoy a day on the tools.
8) What act of sustainability do you implement in your daily life?
I drive a hybrid car and I help people lower their carbon footprint every day!
