Our Story
GWE Group Ltd is a trusted electrical engineering company formed in 1994. Started by GWE’s founder and chairman Wayne Cramer. GWE is the original UK manufacturer of Voltage Optimisation systems.
From the Sheffield Steel Works, to producing the UK’s first voltage optimiser, GWE is built with almost 30 years worth of electrical engineering expertise.
With the UK voltage supply exceeding the requirement of the CE Mark on electrical equipment, most equipment in the UK is wasting energy and burns out more quickly as a result. Today, GWE has completed over 20,000 installations, both in the public and private sectors.
Their prestigious client base includes brands such as The National Trust, Co-Op and Kellogg’s. Each of which enjoy energy savings worth tens of thousands of pounds every year.

The eco-max system was developed with the purpose of reducing energy consumption, lowering energy costs and extending the lifespan of electrical equipment.
Whether choosing an off-the-shelf or bespoke eco-max, all our products come with a minimum Manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years and the ability to extend the warrant to 15 years.
